The Ghostly Truth Behind the LA Dentist Murder Case of 1925

Lisa Morton presents this week's Ghost Report, delving into the eerie true crime tale of Dr. Thomas Young, a dentist accused of murdering his wealthy wife in 1925 Los Angeles. Young confessed to killing his wife, Grace, and hiding her body in a cistern. As his trial proceeded, Young committed suicide in his jail cell, halting the trial. The peculiar twist to this story lies in Young's claim to psychiatrists that he was haunted by the ghosts of his deceased wife and brother. His brother had similarly committed suicide after committing a murder. Lisa leaves us contemplating the possibility of Young's spirit haunting others post-death.

If you're familiar with haunted locations, you've probably heard the classic cliché: "It's built over an Indian burial ground." The overused phrase even has its own Wikipedia entry, thanks to its popularization in the 1979 horror film Amityville Horror. Find out more on this week's Ghost Report with Lisa Morton.
