The first day of free agency in the Harbaugh Era did not disappoint. The New York Giants were aggressive right out of the gate, adding several key pieces on offense, defense, and special teams as they continue reshaping the roster.
Headlining the moves was the addition of dynamic playmaker Isaiah Likely, giving the offense another weapon in the passing game. Defensively, the Giants made a major splash by signing Tremaine Edmunds to replace Bobby Okereke, and we break down how he fits into the new defensive scheme under coordinator Dennard Wilson.
The Giants also secured a big move by retaining Jermaine Eluemunor to solidify the offensive line, while bringing back familiar faces Chris Manhertz and Isaiah Hodgins. However, they did lose Cor’Dale Flott and Wan’Dale Robinson to the Tennessee Titans on big contracts. On special teams, New York added All-Pro punter Jordan Stout.
It was a huge opening day for Big Blue. In this episode of The Giants Report, we break down every move, what the new additions bring to the roster, and the areas and players the Giants could target as free agency continues.
Lets talk.
