Lesson #156, "I walk with God in perfect holiness," is the subject of this Podcast today. Sondra and Markus explore this sense of holiness, and what it means to walk with the awareness of this holiness. The lesson brings us into the vortex of our holiness and helps us experience it directly.
SONDRA & MARKUS explore the meaning of Christmas, free of all notions of "sacrifice." The glory of the Christ in this day is born in us, bringing about the end of the notion of "sacrifice and guilt." We invite in the Christ into our awareness. This is the true meaning of Christmas.
SONDRA & MRKUS discuss the lead in to Christmas, on DEC 24th, 2020. Lessons #303-306 are the subjects of this Podcast. "The Holy Christ is born in me today." This is a whole new way of looking at the Christ as the "better part of our Self." The birth of the Christ in us is the real Christmas Day. And this awakening, this rebirth, can happen any time. Join Sondra and Markus on this "Christmas Eve" to awaken together.
What is true Forgiveness? It is part of the Song of Prayer. Yet, "forgiveness-to-destroy" is a deception that we have to look at in order not to make this error. All guilt projected onto others is just a reflection of the guilt we maintain in ourselves. Self correction is the work of the day. Christ's Vision sees only our eternal innocence. It looks past our "errors" at the Divine Self we are. Attaining Christ's Vision is the challenge of True Prayer and True Forgiveness.
The result of true prayer is recognizing our One Self. Lesson #95 in the Workbook states, "I am one Self, united with my Creator." This is the true prayer that unifies us with God. It gives us a definite practice in order to be aware of this unification.
Further Dialogues on the SONG OF PRAYER reveal the one true Prayer. "The truly humble have have no goal but God, because they need no idols, and defense is no longer a purpose." God can be seen in every action in our Divine Existence. We see everything we do in the holiness of God's Love. Markus says, "Then everything I do is an expression of my Divine Connection." Join Sondra and Markus for this next installment of commentaries on the SONG OF PRAYER.
Sondra and Markus continue their discussion on the Song of Prayer. What we see as "praying for others" is still and opportunity for us to accept and reinforce our own Divine Connection. This is the only real prayer—freedom from "guilt" and the problems that "guilt" demands. We are lifted to a higher Awareness in this discussion. The only One Prayer is for your absorption into your Divine Consciousness. In this connection all your other needs are met, all your "problems" have been solved.
There is a Supplement in A Course in Miracles called The Song of Prayer. It is a profound guide to Prayer. It defines true Prayer free of entreaty. True Prayer does not "ask for things" we do not have, or "ask to meet our needs." It asks to receive what has already been given. The lofty Prayer is to be free from the block of receiving what has already been given. We give gratitude and thanksgiving for the Song of God which has already given you Heaven and everything else. "In Prayer you let go of your specific needs as you see them and let them go into Gods Hands." God has already met the needs.
Looking at ourself, and taking 100% responsibility for everything, releases us from victimhood. This is easy when we turn over our vision to the Holy Spirit who can restore our right mind. We are all working through the same decision to heal. The correction is always within ourself. We are responsible for healing ourselves and all those with whom we are contacting in a Holy Relationship.
Sondra and Markus discuss the ATONEMENT and the end of guilt. How do we accept the end of guilt? All mistakes are "forgivable." And even though we made a "mistake," we can completely love and accept our True Self. The True Self does not need the ATONEMENT. It is only when we are "stuck" in our ego that we need the ATONEMENT to get us out of the "guilt" we feel. This Miracle is incredibly swift. Forgiveness is a swift shift out of identifying with the ego (fear and guilt) and the awakening of our Identity in our Christ Self (love and innocence).
