There is a "gap" the ego loves to maintain between ourselves and our brother. This is the ultimate way we maintain our separation from God. We cannot claim we want God's Love without ending this "gap of separation." God's Love is WHOLE. It does not cast out the evil doers. Because in this dimension of Spirit beyond the body and all its "demonstrations," there is no "gap" between us and our brothers. We are joined in this Dimension of Divine Reality. And therefore we end the separation we imagined between ourselves and God, since our "brother" is God.

The real Ark of Safety is our Holy Relationship. This transcends the body. It ends the sense of separation. There is a Wholeness that is our Reality. There is no separation. Our true Will is one with our Creator's Will. There is no Will but God's. We do not exist apart from this Will, therefore God's Will is our Will. It is one of Absolute, Unconditional Love.

We make secret vows with our body to be "sick." We assign that role to the body which it does not even have. It is not the body who is "sick," it is our mind of the ego's thought system that attacks the body, and our brother, to enact a vengeance upon itself. But the real Self as God created cannot be affected by this insanity. And...the body is neutral. It will only do what it is directed to do. Who directs it? The "ego" or our True Self of Love?

God is the alternative to fear. We either use the thought system of the Ego (Fear), or the Thought System of God (Love). We cannot use both. The alternative to Fear is Love. This is the only real decision we will ever make in life. Which will we choose? We are not seeing and hearing clearly, beyond all "sickness," until we choose for Love.

The Greater Joining is with our Creator and with our True Self. This is the Self we share with all of our Brothers and Sisters. There are no separate "bodies" and "personalities" in this Joining. It's a Lofty Action. Can we take it?

When we agree to JOIN with our Creator and our Brothers and Sisters, the "cause" of sickness is ended. Separation is ended, which was never really there. The imagined "gap" is bridged at the "speed of light" by the Holy Spirit, and our JOY is restored, as it was always there is in Reality.

In this Section the speaker continues in Chapter 28 that deals with the undoing of fear. REVERSING EFFECT AND CAUSE is the subject of this talk. Cause must have an effect; an effect establishes a cause. We are the Effect (Self of God's Son) of our Cause (God our Creator).

The Father is the Cause and the Son is His Effect. These all share in Love, Purity, Innocence, Boundlessness, Freedom. True Cause and Effect is Unlimited.

Healing is seeing the the Effect does not make the Cause. The ego has reversed them. Healing is to reverse this confusion and allow ourselves to be the Effects of Love, of God, of our Creator, as a MIND in the MIND of LOVE. We are not separated from this One Mind. Separation is the only condition we need to heal--and this is accomplished by seeing our True Mind is always part of the Cause, the MIND of GOD.

We are asked to reverse our notions of dreaming the result in sickness and death.

This is the first Section I in the Chapter 28 on UNDOING OF FEAR. It discuses the restoration of the present memory. We think of memory of past situations and events, but seldom do we think of it as a recollection of this present moment. This Section discusses the undoing of the debilitating memory of fear, guilt or anger based on error experienced in our past, brought to the present through a false projection we make up.

All guilt is based on past memories of illusions. But we think these illusions are "real." What is an illusion but a mirage of something that is not really there, but that we have given some form we "think we see?" Can we question these images we bring forward from the past?

Misperceptions are not true. The miracles remove our beliefs that the false is "true." Undoing is their function. The real memory is one of the NOW. This holds our real Cause of Peace and Joy. Negative thoughts have no real effects in this present state of being. All guilt is born in the past. When we enter truly in our awareness of this Presence, illusions are finished, and we can remember the sacred joys of the present.
