I made the journey to Wakefield, where I caught up with brilliant poet, Tim Brookes. He`s a good man, kind, considerate and thoughtful; putting much back in to the community. Tim also runs the fantastic open mic night, Gobby in the Lobby.

I recently travelled South to beautiful Barnsley, where I was greeted by my good friend Stephen Linstead. Poetry was shared along with a brief history of The Cooper Gallery, the NUM building and an insight into some wonderful local talent who brushed alongside the best of the mighty London.
