As believers, it is important that we understand one of the great implications of the Gospel: through Christ's resurrection, we received power. And the power at work in us is the very power that raised Him from the dead.

In his letter to the church in Ephesus, Apostle Paul writes of "the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead."

One of the greatest implications of the Gospel is that the sacrifice of Jesus has already broken the power of sin over your life. But freedom unacknowledged is freedom unused.

Apostle Paul writes in Romans 6, "Reckon yourselves to be dead to sin... for sin shall not have dominion over you." The word reckon is key. It is a deliberate, conscious act of faith. When you fail to stand on what Christ has already done, you leave a door open for the enemy to keep you trapped in the very thing you have already been freed from.

So today, make the declaration: sin has no dominion over me. Not because you feel it, but because the Word says it.

The Hymn writer wrote "Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow."

In this episode, Pastor Josiah stresses on the importance of understanding that the sacrifice of Jesus covers for the sin of every individual, leaving no one out. This conviction must be settled in our hearts as we take the message of salvation to people irrespective of their past or the knowledge we have about them.

In 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Apostle Paul alluded to the fact that the core essence of our faith is on the sacrifice of Jesus in his death, burial and resurrection. Anything outside of this is a false illusion and means we are toiling without a hope to hold onto.

The Apostle Peter admonishes us in the first chapter of his second epistle: "And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity."

In the episode, Pastor begins by explaining that the glory of Christ is for us to become like Him. And for us to be fruitful in the knowledge of Christ, we must keep adding all these simultaneously to our lives as we grow.

As believers, it is important that we grasp the full weight and significance of Christ's resurrection, and not just understand it in theory, but actively walk in the fullness of everything it has made available to us, every single day.
