In our beginning series on Who Are We as a Church, we look at three components that make a great church. It is not how great the music is, or how great the preaching is, or what programs they offer. It is Godly action both towards Him and others.
In our final message on dealing with grief, Pastor Keith talks about understanding the process of healing. Sometimes it is instantaneous, but as we see in the Scripture here, it can take time. Trust in the Lord for His time.
Have you ever felt alone while you grieve? Its a feeling that can haunt you. But we are not alone. God suffers with us.
We get so focused on the victory that we forget that grief is an emotion that needs to be part of the healing process. Listen as Pastor Keith begins his series on grief to learn that its okay to acknowledge what you have been through. That is the first step towards restoration.
Are we so focused on trying to understand how God works that we miss what He's doing right now? The disciples on the road to Emmaus were like that. It was only when they invited Jesus in for fellowship that their eyes were opened. Let the Lord open your eyes today so that you can see Him! The Glorious One!
The Cross was so much more than Jesus dying for our sins. Through the cross, every curse from the fall of man was undone! Now we are reconciled to God, and are made in His image!
In His farewell address, Jesus promised a Helper. Why a helper? Because He knew that we needed that Presence in our lives to receive guidance and teaching in the Truth, which is Jesus!
For the new few weeks leading up to Resurrection Sunday, we are looking at the last week of Jesus. Today, Pastor Keith talks about Jesus' entry into Jerusalem as a king, and how both the mob and religious leader received Him differently.
How will you receive Him today?
In the final message on this series, Pastor Keith talks about how God restores us from bondage and not only gives us back our lives, but puts His Name upon us.
