FASHIONABLE FRIDAY [STUDIO]: Soweto-born Thando Ntuli is the founder of award-winning fashion brand Munkus. The luxury clothing brand offers ready-to-wear clothes and was established in 2019. They’ve showcased at fashion weeks in SA, Nigeria and Kenya. She joins us in studio.

ARTS: Award winning film & stage actor, playwright,
director & producer Hamilton Dhlamini and the Joburg
theatre have brought back the political satirical play,
Woza Albert. The play was written by Percy Mtwa,
Mbongeni Ngema and Barney Simon in 1981. We’re now
joined on the line by Hamilton Dhlamini. 

Health Minister Joe Phaahla says at least
four people have died as a result of the ongoing strike
action by the National Education, Health and Allied
Workers' Union as they were unable to access
healthcare facilities. The union is demanding a ten
percent salary increase, a R2 500 housing allowance
and improved medical aid benefits. We now speak to
Dr Percy Mahlati, Deputy Director General for Hospital
Services at the Department of Health. We reached out
to Nehawu but unfortunately, they didn’t avail
themselves.

Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane this afternoon visited the school where a 3-year-old died after a bookshelf collapsed on him. The accident happened at Little Ashford School in Bedforview, Gauteng. We now speak to MEC Matome Chiloane.
