ARTS: Tomorrow is World Book Day and the Puku Children’s Literature Foundation held a webinar to discuss the importance of kid’s books in mother tongue languages earlier today. They also discussed the rare isiXhosa manuscripts that burned in the UCT library Fire. We’re now joined on the line by Elinor Sisulu who’s the Executive Director of Puku.

NTERVIEW: The radio fraternity and fans are in mourning after the passing of former Metro FM DJ Grant Shakoane.
He was affectionately known to his listeners as Mr “Shebabadoo Shebaba.”
Shakoane graced the mic in the 80s on Metro FM, hosting The GS Connection on Sundays.
He started his journey on radio as a translator at an advertising agency working at the SABC, before he decided to audition for a job on air at the broadcaster.

The Business Investment Competition encourages and rewards entrepreneurs by providing a platform for South African, black-owned small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to become part of a community of like-minded entrepreneurs.

NTERVIEW: The South African Human Rights Commission says its preliminary findings indicate that the principal of a Limpopo school where a teenager was bullied failed to take appropriate action when her family alerted him to the incident.
The commission visited the Mbilwi Secondary School yesterday after a video of Lufuno Mavhunga being attacked by a fellow pupil went viral.
The 15-year-old teenager allegedly committed suicide following the assault.
Her alleged attacker was arrested
