Most conversations about citizenship start with a problem: a weak passport, an unstable home country, a family without options. This one starts with a plan.
Matt Hurley spent 12 years as a British Army cavalry officer and completed seven operational tours before retiring as a major in 2007. He went on to co-found Poseidon Group, which now operates across real estate, care services, recruitment, mining and specialist training on four continents. He is a British citizen based in the UAE, and he recently became a citizen of St Lucia.
Sebastian Grube talks with Matt about:
His reasoning is simple. Residency is conditional. Citizenship isn't.
