A powerful time led by Philip Quenby who shared about praying into the historical times and points when God manifested in the UK, seeing these as foundational templates upon which we all can be inspired and declare for the Lord to do it again. Many expressions of gratefulness were expressed by ones for the spiritual seeds planted by those in the past from the UK. Very inspirational!

Powerful time of praising & reflecting God’s goodness, followed by focussed prayers for biblical alignment between Israel & USA.Especially for B Netanyahu & D Trump to follow godly wisdom, at this significant & strategic time.Thoughts were also shared about the Texas floods & encouragement to remain with eyes on our God. He alone can turn mourning into dancing.

Our own Jean Toh (part of France Watch) shared about her recent experiences evangelizing and doing prophetic intercession in France. Jean’s testimony is a clear demonstration of an Elisha picking up Elijah’s mantle and running in step with God.

The call was hosted by Theresa [Victoria], Irene and Eileen [co-leaders]. Eileen is a Pacific Time Zone Leader and from the US Watch. They were invited to oversee the watch as Karen S and 7 others from Canada Watch were attending the Inaugural National Day of Prayer in Ottawa, July 11-12th 2025.The watch was opened with Psalm 133. Eileen was introduced and shared “We have come alongside every nation, including Canada, to join them in prayer. This very significant day, Canada's Inaugural National Day of Prayer”Theresa: ‘Tend to the soil of my heart, I will grow like a garden.’ It is a progressive thing, potential to happen every day.The song spoke to her of the world right now, all kinds of shaking. Yet the Lord is inviting us: “to come into My presence - find refuge in My heart.”Kim U from USA shared the significant connection between the US and Canada.A very short video of prayer for the Inauguration of the National Day of Prayer based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 was then played.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4y4q-_lV8hgThere was a great emphasis on unity, oneness, joy and an expectation that a shift would come to Canada as a result of the NDOP. The focus on the 2nd day, July 12th would be to gather as one, in oneness, before God.Many had confirmation of the word ‘joy’. Others expressed ‘truly the Lord has tended the garden and this is a result of all the prayers over the years;’ ‘watch with great expectancy to see a shift come throughout the land.’People were invited to pray and declare over the NDOP, Canada and beyond. Several scriptures were brought forth which opened up a ‘seeing’ aspect of not only the Lord but on what He is doing and wants to do thru His people. [Psalm 123:1-4, 2 Chronicles 5:13-14] Joshua 1:9 - a word of encouragement to stand bold, courageous in their stance in Canada for a return to righteousness knowing the Lord was with them.Patty’s beautifully sang Psalm 133 in Hebrew.The Indigenous people of Turtle Island were lifted up to the Lord. Theresa closed the meeting acknowledging and thanking all for their participation and for standing with Canada, including Global Watch. Her final prayer: We pray that we would see more and more of what it is the Lord is saying to us and follow Him whole heartedly. Asking of Him - what is essential for me to do today?

In this deeply moving Israel Watch, Susan Heagy offered a vivid glimpse into daily ministry life among Holocaust survivors in Israel. With humility, she described navigating complex bureaucracy, language barriers, and emotional support, bringing compassion, companionship, and faith to the elderly. From hospital visits to housing advocacy, Susan and Louise Sher embody Yeshua’s love through relentless service. The testimonies, scriptures, and relational breakthroughs stirred hearts, affirming the power of perseverance and the beauty of God’s timing in every detail.

There was a good time of prayer from those on the call especially praying for the young people in Africa to have a baptism in the Holy Spirit to make a difference in this continent.

Praying into the plans for a Global Watch team along with Sue and Carolyn Hyde to be in Armenia right after the summit for a time of worship and intercession. Sue will be speaking at two venues on the Watchmen call.

OWR hosted Pastor Peter McHugh, the founding pastor emeritus of Stairway Church. A sought after mentor, leader and pastor to pastors. His life has been profoundly impacted through sovereign divine encounters. In particular, when he was searching to experience the true [agape] love of God and when he did his life was dramatically changed and he was able to minister out of the Lord’s love in a way he had never been able to do so before. He was going through an extraordinary challenge in 2004 and shared this life changing testimony of his encounter with God, in 2005, at the ‘tree’ in New Zealand. His focus was very much on the oneness that Jesus spoke of in John 17 as well as the call he felt across the Body of Christ in calling on a deeper understanding of John 17:20-23 where Jesus wants us to understand the power of oneness. His interpretation of unity was better expressed in ‘as becoming one’ He gave the physical illustration of what he considered was unity. Where unity is described as agreement our two hands are pressed together in an upright position. However, when we disagree our hands separate, come apart. The most effective demonstration of agreement/unity is when our fingers on our hands are entwined with each other. This he described as ‘protecting relationships’.The question is: Do we have the knowledge of experience and encounter with God’s agape love; or the knowledge of God’s love through our educated minds? He believes you are unable to love one another unless you know how much you're loved by God in reference to the second great commandment. John 13:34-35.Another point he made was that unless people know the love of God they will operate in fear. He quoted perfect love casts out fear. All fears that limit our love for one another, that competes or compares with others, shows we don’t have the experiential love of God. Experience of the encounter with the love of God changes your world. As people encounter that love they break away from fear.If you squeeze a lemon you get lemon juice, if you squeeze an orange juice. If you squeeze Jesus you should get Jesus juice. We can be squeezed by life but need to respond/react through Jesus’ agape love, not phileo [brotherly or friendship] love. Those on the watch were left hungry for MORE and in particular, the HOW TO. This was a message of oneness and healing. Ruth W brought everyone deeper into the presence of the Lord through “Fresh Fresh Oil” which was very aptly aligned with Peter’s message.Cynthia, presently in Israel, stated it was so needed there. She closed in prayer and prayed for the Lord to “Fill us with Your agape love, expand our hearts to receive it and open them to share with others. “
