In this final session of “The Awe of God” by John Bevere, participants engaged deeply with themes of legacy, obedience, wisdom, and finishing well. Far more than a study, the conversation revealed how holy fear is a lifestyle of intimacy, trust, and alignment with God’s presence. The group shared vulnerable stories, prophetic insights, and heartfelt prayer—emphasizing that the fear of the Lord isn’t a concept to learn but a treasure to live. A rich conclusion to the six-week journey, filled with substance, challenge, and beauty.

Led by Hilary Moroney with a focus on Shavuot. An inspiring video from One For Israel was shared “Shavuot From Judgement to Redemption”. We ended with sharing various scriptures and songs.

In this timely Global Watch session, IDF soldier and ministry leader Chaim Malespin shares a heartfelt update on Israel’s current conflict. Offering insight into both the spiritual and military tensions in the land, the hour included worship, personal testimonies, and powerful intercession for Israel’s soldiers, hostages, and prophetic destiny. Prayers focused on healing, protection, and resisting a two-state solution, calling believers to stand united for God's purposes in the Middle East.

Our focus today was the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in our individual lives; there were 4 songs related to this season of Shavuot (& Pentecost). Testimonies were given on experiences of first being baptised in the Holy Spirit. After the song “Holy Spirit thou art welcome in this place” we broke bread together and then had a prayer time; the session ended with the worship song by Karen Davis “Yeshua” & a final prayer which expressed the need for the Holy Spirit to be in the lives of the people & leaders in Africa (& the whole world)!

Karen Sand led the meeting with many prayer initiatives because of the part Oslo played in the push for a two state solution for Israel. Marie gave a vision that she had experienced. Unfortunately the guest speaker from Denmark was unable to connect as he was at the Kotel. He is leading a Christian party that is supporting Israel.

This week coveres session 5 on the "Awe of God." The focuses is on 'Intimacy with God'. A really great chapter for discussion for the Global Watch community.

Michael Matt shared a slide presentation and taught on the upcoming Feast of Shavuot.

At the beginning of the call Lynette reminded us that today is the 40th day of counting the Omer and it was on this day Jesus ascended to Heaven and in 10 more days we will be at Shavuot (Pentecost). The new month, Sivan which begins on the eve of May 27th is during Shavuot. This new month is a time to wake up to the Harvest before us. A time of taking back the things of God’s Kingdom and His timeline. As always Lynette will stir up your spirit and leave you with so many treasured nuggets to continue your personal transformation as well as the transformation and realignment for the church to God’s timeline and vision for His Kingdom of the One New Man both Jew and Gentile.

Cam presented an illuminating video “The Footprint of God” which highlighted L’Regel = to the foot” or going up with your foot. Aliyah = to go up/ascend. Aliyah can refer to going up to Jerusalem [3 times/year for the feasts] or in the context of this watch, immigrating to Israel. Alison introduced the guest speakers, Peter and Fiona Stucken who have a long involvement along with family members with Ebenezer Operation Exodus. A Christian organization that exists to assist Jewish people to immigrate to Israel. They have representatives in over 50 countries around the world.Pete Stucken, comes from a business background, serves as Chairman of the Ebenezer Asia Pacific Board. His wife, Fiona, serves as Prayer Coordinator for the Asia Pacific Region.They gave a very informative power point presentation. An invitation was then made for those to participate in a crucial list of prayer points centred around the Jewish communities worldwide making Aliyah to Israel; the hindrances, potential hindrances and the Lord’s promises to gather them and bring them home.

Israel gave an update on the Australian Governments commitment, to be a reliable support to the Pacific nations. Prayers have made a difference, as there is a greater focus on the importance of Australia, ‘being the big brother’ to the islands, responding to Pacific priorities. Especially as funding from the USA has stopped. Prayer targeted the hidden agendas, that can present with accepting funding.
