So many different diets out there promising so many different things, or even fucking weight loss pills those just piss me off 🤣. Especially on social media man, so many diets you got, keto, paleo, low-carb, high carb, intermittent fasting, iifym, like fuck, I would be overwhelmed if I was new to this space.

The problem is right out the gate people are confused already, and maybe they try one of these “diets” and it doesn’t work, and they say “yeah that’s just not for me”. Like no this is FOR YOU !! Trust me you just haven’t found the sustainable way of eating for you just yet. I really think sometimes these diets seem so attractive because they’ll get you “results” quickly, but has getting results quickly, ever worked for anyone in the long run? Like yes we all want to get ripped be shredded all this but is dieting for 2 weeks, gonna help you make fitness part of your lifestyle (which is where you see the real results). But the real aspect that makes any diet useful for losing weight is this....

CALORIE DEFICIT!!! CALORIE DEFICIT!!! CALORIE DEFICIT!! Engrave this term in your brain, this just means your eating less energy/food than your body is burning. Therefore it’s gonna equal weight loss, like this is just a fact, if you eat more food than your body is burning your not gonna lose weight, so EAT LESS. First you need to find your maintainence calories(which is how many calories you eat to stay the same weight) and lower this amount by 200-500 calories a day. Now where these diets come in is they just give you certain foods to eat for this calorie deficit. I say just stick to Whole Foods, include certain foods that you like a couple times a week but STAY ON YOUR CALORIES AND HIT YOUR PROTEIN CONSISTENTLY!!!

Easier said than done, otherwise everyone would be ripped, you need to stay consistent with this concept, that’s why I say include foods you like in your diet every now and then, so your not fiending for cookies and one day eat a whole box of Oreos, so find your balance, stick to a calorie deficit, eat Whole Foods, you’ll lose weight.
