It's the night before Christmas! We have a full team on as well as guest Nick Tatham from East Coast Radio to chat all things Masters as we pick our dogs for the week. The LIV OWGR makes Golfchamps interesting and we announce our first GolfChamps sponsored pool!

Its our 21st! We wrap up our thoughts on the trip to the Joburg and the future of the Sunshine Tour. TBag has some more tales from the media centre and cramped driving range, whilst Jacques takes us back in time with some memories/PTSD from his 21st.

We're on site this week at the Jonsson Workwear Open at Glendower. Our first exploration into the media side of a real golf event is interesting to say the least.

We do a deep dive on par 5 holes in KZN and (eventually) come up with our official TOP 5 list. We contemplate what makes a great Par 5 and try balance our subjective eye-tests with more objective rankings. The number one rank may not be a surprise but JDV and Big T certainly throw some other interesting nominations in the hat. Karl updates us on his eagle hunt.

The LIV golf season is on us again and we have some fun working out players, venues and South African brands that should consider LIV sponsorships.

We do a brief post-mortem on 2023 and then lay out our aspirations for 2024. For the first time in ages, we're all together in person and its a jol. Can Karl finish the 13th at Cotswold? Will Terrence play 15 new courses this year and is it possible for JDV to play less golf? 

Our final full podcast for the year - we talk about the few stand-out performers on the South African pro golf front in 2023. We also dream of a re-invigorated SA Open and propose the five courses we think it should visit - with a cameo appearance from Dale Hayes with his thoughts.

Guy talks us through his path to designing and building his own golf course and his obsession with classical design. Guy and his new partners Dale Hayes and Roger Newman will be opening 7 new holes at the course next year and we do a deep dive on a few of these holes and the inspiration Guy drew from all over the classical golf world.
