For some you might recognize him from his podcast he does with his friends called “this is kingdom” A weekly conversation that’s all about helping build God’s kingdom using General Conference talks as the outline for each episode. It’s a great listen for any youth and young single adult to grow their testimony in a casual, yet simple way. Talon is currently a trip leader, advisor, and can be considered a chief motivator for his role working at HXP. A Humanitarian Experience that sends teenagers all across the world helping participate in service projects, while also building friendships and testimonies along the way.
Talon Savage’s story: “Lift. Encourage. Inspire. Bless.” How these four words have helped Talon grow a desire to serve others on the football field, the mission, or leaders who work for HXP (Humanitarian Experience). Talon talks about asking BIG, hoping BIG, and breaming BIG, because he believes in a God who is Bigger. We talk about the importance of “remembering and retaining” the goodness of God when going through hard times, and how to collect daily “mana” when it doesn’t fall.
Talon believes in a good God. An abundant God. A God of upgrades. And if you will follow Him, A God to lead you to better and more beautiful lands. To end, we talk about a God who gives us trials for the benefit of ourselves and others, and a God who will give us hope in the hurt and take us higher if we feel like we’re at the bottom.
