We’re hanging out with Dr. Rod Rosenbladt of Concordia University-Irvine and co-host of The White Horse Inn. When you have Rod at the 3rd microphone, all you have to do is wind him up and let him go, which is more or less what we did. No one talks about the Gospel for the “outsider” better than our good friend Rod.

We have David Murrow at the 3rd microphone in this testosterone-driven edition of The God Whisperers. “Hallowed be Thy Name.” We don’t use the word “hallowed” much any more. Halloween, hallowed halls, maybe hallowed ground. What does it mean to ask God that His Name be holy? Professor R. Reed Lessing of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis takes the “3rd Microphone” in this special edition recorded at the PSW District Pastors Conference. Dr. Lessing is the author of a recently published commentary on the book of Jonah in the Concordia Commentary Series. In this session with The God Whisperers, Reed plumbs the depths of this rich biblical narrative of death and resurrection and introduces us to some very colorful Hebrew expressions, prompting our first ever “Home Schooler Alert.” We’re really excited about this Jonah-in-an-hour episode.
