"Don't let anyone mislead you, [5] for many will come in my name,
claiming, 'I am the Messiah.' They will deceive many.
to become a saviour to us which is opposite of what Jesus represented while on
of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege
where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing
God's glory. [3] We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for
we know that they help us develop endurance. [4] And endurance develops
strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of
day the disciples of John the Baptist came to Jesus and asked him, "Why
don't your disciples fast like we do and the Pharisees do?" [15] Jesus
replied, "Do wedding guests mourn while celebrating with the groom? Of
course not. But someday the groom will be taken away from them, and then they
sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For
you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people's faces. You won't go in
yourselves, and you don't let others enter either.

"It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega-the Beginning and the End.

witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars-their fate is in the fiery lake of
burning sulfur. This is the second death."
