They discuss about things happening for a reason, expectations of Fatherhood, the crucial importance of fathers in their children's lives, and people staying in relationships "for the kids". Also there is a discussion about fathers/men seeking therapy.

Tamara is from Spartanburg, South Carolina and is now currently a social worker. Her goal is to start a non-profit that creates a real partnership between families and government agencies. Her favorite quote is, "Your gift will make room for you and bring you before great men".

This week Michael Broome, Sr and special guest D’Ante Colbert discuss about the influence of a good father, lessons learned from fatherhood, and how we felt when our sons were born, and raising a Black child.

D’Ante is a recent graduate at NC State University. He is from Columbia, MD and has aspirations of being an author and a Rotational Development Associate at BCBS. He wants to write short stories that challenge the way we see mythology and religions. Also, he wants to reveal to people the mythology from their heritage that they’ve never heard before.
