One of the biggest unconscious beliefs that make people unhappy is that things should be great all of the time. So when they're not, we complain that life is not fair and that life "shouldn't be this way or that way."
The key is to cultivate the skill of deliberately choosing what you focus on. Choose to direct your thoughts on deep appreciation and gratitude.
It's super important to remember that wherever you go, no matter how wonderful you think it's going to be, there will be positives and negatives. Unless you change the way YOU look at things, the things you look at will not change.
