Fr Rob Galea is a Catholic priest, singer-songwriter, film-maker and author. I was super lucky to be joined by Fr Rob and my friend Ashley as a co-host to talk about Fr Rob's story.
In this episode: Fr Rob grew up in Malta, a party island, and developed depression and anxiety as a teen. After hitting rock bottom, he joined a Christian youth group and later - the priesthood. We talk about prayer, misconceptions of the Catholic church and what Fr Rob's "elevator pitch" about Catholicism is.
Trigger Warning: We talk about depression and suicide in this episode from 7:38 - 14:29. If anything you hear has a triggering effect, please reach out to someone who can help keep you safe. Or remember, you can find lifeline at any time at 13 11 14 or www.lifeline.org.au.

Daizy has always wanted to make a positive impact on the world. But it wasn't until she volunteered with refugees in Thailand that she realised the power of entrepreneurship. After completing half of a law degree, she realised the power that entrepreneurial skills has in empowering people - especially those who are disadvantaged.
**In this episode: **Daizy talks about growing up in Griffith NSW and the racism that she faced growing up. She tells us about how her independent nature led her to travel to India as a teenager, volunteer in Thailand and Tanzania and found her own university club. She now works with SPARK Deakin and Bold Punjab to cultivate entrepreneurial and leadership skills in young people and South Asian women.

Happy Monday ☀️ In this episode, Sam tells us about growing up in Bendigo and how he discovered a cause he felt extremely passionate about - saving his local pool. He faced a disappointing Council vote to close the pool after campaigning, but rallied the community to get a Yes vote weeks later.
In this time of great social movements, Sam's story reminds us that change is possible. He is a Politics/Journalism student and offers his perspective on why engaging in politics is more important than ever.
