Mamas! Pop your earbuds in for this one!

Heidi and I have a transparent conversation that's loaded with truth, laughter, and advice for the pregnant mama who is anxious about delivering her baby during the Covid-19 pandemic. We have six kids between the two of us, and the wisdom flows freely on all fronts of motherhood, but with the main focus being on what to expect while being pregnant during the pandemic.

Heidi shares how pregnancy and prenatal visits were different this go 'round. She talks about advice she got from her midwife that helped prepare her mentally for a smooth labor and delivery, what you should definitely pack in your birth bag, and what she wishes someone would have told her about labor, delivery, and postpartum phases of having a baby. Naturally, I chime in with my experiences as well! This was a fun and informative time that you will want to share with pregnant mama friends needing a laugh and peace of mind.

Our hope is to encourage and put you at ease. The truth is: God is in control and your body knows what to do!

Anyone out there like me who enjoys knowing what's popular and good to listen to or watch but just don't know where to go or want to take the time to find it? Elevating Motherhood's Lori Beth Auldridge joins me on the podcast today. She is a blogger and podcaster, a gentle soul that wants mamas to connect rather than compare, to opt out rather than overwhelm, and give to each other more than we get from each other. Coronavirus Update: We are locked down, flattening the curve, and if we're honest, a little on edge. No matter what emotions are going on inside of us, I'm here to tell you: God is not surprised. He is in control. He still sits on His throne and knows our every need. Praise Jesus! 

We serve a God that sympathizes with us in our weakness but does leave us helpless, hopeless or destitute. He tells us in His Word, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Join me as I share a timely Word God gave me recently. I hope it blesses you like it did me. He is famous for putting things in perspective when we draw near to Him.

This is my first episode interviewing someone I have never met or spoken to before. You would not even know it listening to us carry on! Jessica Carey is a bright and shining light. Her love for the Lord is exuded throughout her testimony, wisdom, and Faith that she shares with me on the podcast.
