Lazarus and the Rich man is a story we're all too familiar with. What does it look like to live in comfort while others suffer? What is Jesus trying to get at with this story? Could it be more than money? There are many questions one could ask about this passage of scripture. I invite you to wrestle with the application of this story.

Luke 15 can be rightfully dubbed as God's 'lost and found department'. What does it look like to be lost and what does it look like to be found? Should we cast ourselves into the parable as the lost sheep/coin in Luke 15? Perhaps we should wrestle with what it looks like to be lost and found.

I think it's safe to say we know exactly what division looks like in our personal lives. Perhaps we see it in families, cities, and even nations. The effects of division can get ugly pretty quick. So what does it mean when Jesus says he came "not to bring peace but division"?

What can we get from a message about a prophet, a prostitute, and the discipline of prayer? These are stories I consider to be double take messages, upon first glance they force you to double take and ask yourself what it is you are seeing.
