Luke 8:40-56 tells the story of two desperate people—Jairus, whose daughter was dying, and a woman suffering for years. Many touched Jesus, but only one was healed because of her faith. Jesus’ miracles weren’t about delaying death but pointing to something greater: eternal life. He came not to make our earthly lives better, but to conquer death itself. What He has done for us is even greater than what He did for Jairus' daughter.
