Today's Bible reading is taken from the book of Exodus 3.

God called Moses and sent him to free His people from the hands of the Egyptians and lead them into a land that He had promised their fathers. Moses questioned God for the responses he would give if he himself was questioned. 

In like manner, God has called many of His children to do one task or another, and in many cases, we begin to doubt, question God, or sometimes may become too afraid, or feel unqualified to take on the tasks set before us. In today's reading, God is reminding us His name.

The life of a Christian is a life of grace. We are who and what we are today by the grace of God. Today, there is an open invitation to reconnect to the gift of God that has been made available to us by grace.

Sometimes in life we give up too easily. However in today's reading we are admonished to remain persistent in the place of prayer. 

"If we being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will our heavenly Father freely give us the Holy Spirit."

Stay there, for it will surely come to pass.

We make a new start with high hopes of a long-term commitment, unfortunately, we often find ourselves going back to our old ways.

In today's bible reading, God gave King Solomon what we would in today's world call a blank cheque.

He was asked to name anything he wanted, and he asked for wisdom. How humbling is that!

Today, we learn that he answer to acquiring all that we have ever imagined is in seeking the heart of God.

In today's world, we find that many of us, believers included, have lost the sense of righteous living. Many have abused the gift of 'Freewill' that God has so graciously given to us. However, in our bible study today, we are reminded about the right way to doing things.
