Our hearts were made not to be far from God’s Word, but to receive His Word so we might enjoy a fruitful life.

This Sunday, we’re launching a new series that I believe could be truly life-changing. It’s called Summer Stories: Parables of Jesus. Each week, we’ll dive into the powerful stories Jesus told—parables that speak directly to the condition of our hearts and how open we are to fully following Him.

This week, we’ll be looking at Luke 8 and asking an honest question: What hinders the soil of the human heart from receiving His Word and producing spiritual fruit?
