This week we tackled "Amityville II: The Possession" and it has so many moving parts to it that we needed to invite back Chris Egan (TCM3, Fly 2, Return to Sleepaway Camp) to help sort it all out.  It had serious subjects that we touched on but we mostly discussed, Burt Young playing the father role exactly like he played Paulie in Rocky, the house breaking stuff and no one seeming to notice, Doug not knowing which muscles are which, and everything in between. The next and LAST sequel for our 2nd annual "Scary Sequel Month" is our 1st Halloween and it's the 5th one.  The interview is with Actor Troy Evans who plays Charlie in Halloween 5.  Troy had an amazing story to tell that involves Vietnam, Prison, Ace Ventura, and so much more. 

This sequel is no kiddie film and is one of the worst sequels yet! I watched this as a kid and had fond memories of it that were squashed once I hit play. We had back guest Tom Kiczula (Jason Takes Manhattan and Superbabies 2) to help decipher this movie that Jamie called, "Worse than Munchie." We discussed everything from dolls having blood, the creepy barber, Chucky's one-liners, a different Andy, Mrs. Ari Gold, and so much more.

This week I interviewed my 1st Casting Director and I couldn't have been luckier to have chatted with Glenn Daniels.  We reached out to Glenn for 2 of our earliest films, Caddyshack II and Police Academy 6, and I couldn't convince him to say "Yes", but after more emails not giving up, I finally convinced him.  I absolutely LOVED talking to Glenn and how he got started in Hollywood is a wild story. Plus hearing how he got actors like Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow, Teri Hatcher, and Woody Harrelson.  I was also fascinated about how many movies that he has helped cast for that aren't on his IMDb.  We have been lucky enough to interview a lot of awesome people and Glenn is one of my favorites. Your homework is to watch "Scary Movie 4"

This week's bonus interview is EPIC. Not only is it the performance artist from my daughter's favorite show, "Sid the Science Kid", but it's also someone who is part of the Star Wars universe, Misty Rosas. Misty was amazing, we talked about how she grew up in a forest, why she started gymnastics, Congo, her amazing credits, The Mandalorian, her singing, and so much more.  The key takeaway from this interview is to listen to your mom!

"Live for nothing or die for something." is one of the most iconic lines uttered by Stallone in this week's sequel "Rambo" and trust us A LOT of people died in this movie. Jamie dressed up as Rambo for this video review and Doug looked like a dollar store Rambo knockoff toy.  We discussed the political nature of the film, the gruesome deaths, Doug's bad movie choices for dates, everyone is being mean to Rambo, and so much more.

We kick it off with an interview (it's video too!) that is an amazing one. It's with Rapper, Musician, Actor, and all around amazing guy Chingy.  I loved listening to Chingy while in high school and still listen to him, so this was such a great chance to pick the brain of someone in the music industry. Chingy talked about starting to write music at the age of 6, gave Doug a taste of his song that appeared on a mixtape, "Right Thurr", Snoop Dogg, his cameo in Scary Movie 4, and so much more.  We also discussed his new album "Crown Jewel" which should be out soon.

This week's Bonus interview is with New Jersey's own Billy Van Zandt. Billy is an actor, writer, and playwright. He's acted in Jaws 2, written on hit shows like Newhart, and has written plays on Broadway.  We couldn't cover all of Billy's career in an hour, but he wrote a fantastic book called "Get in the Car, Jane!" that covers it all! We did talk about how he started acting, meeting his writing partner Jane Milmore, Lucille Ball, his brother Steven Van Zandt, and more.
