We’re kicking off Pride Month with a real one for ya: and that would be Caye Casa’s very, very dark and very, very disturbing Spanish film, THE COFFEE TABLE (released in the States in 2024, but in its home country in 2022)… and while it may not have much to with anything LGBTQ-related (don’t worry, we gotchu soon), there’s still plenty to slash up and bleed out, including but not limited to bad relationships, teen Lolitas and their trampy mothers, subtitles that may or may not translate accordingly, current Shudder releases, and… well… babies… With that being said, we’re going to add this: TRIGGER WARNING. Alex and Stanley conclude their Salty Sequels theme with the much-better-than-it-should-be THE STRANGERS: PREY AT NIGHT (2018)! Baby Scream Queen-in-the-making Bailee Madison stars (just ask her) as a whiny teen who is fighting for her life in a secluded trailer park, targeted by the masked assailants from the first movie, who are still looking for Tamara all these years later. It might sound silly, and at times, it's def salty, but trust us, it's fun, mean, and an agreeably bloody time. Listen now on all podcast platforms!

It's actually better than it has any right being (we think) -- so join us as we talk Stephen King connections (they exist, we promise), lazy writing, toxic masculinity / evil cheerleaders, production drama, and a bitchin' finale that may not live up to the original exemplary prom setpiece, but it's pretty damn cool! Happy St. Patrick's Day from us to you! Enjoy our audio commentary on the fourth entry in the LEPRECHAUN series: IN SPACE! Who would have thought? And also... dare we say that we kind of had fun? HA! These films are definitely hit or miss, but this one has a little bit of something for everyone we think: bad special space effects, terrible elementary make-up, soap actors who would probably fare better within the adult entertainment industry, and of course, the wonderful Warwick Davis in the title role!
