This was recorded in my room at my study, where I was ruminating on the concept of humility especially as espoused by many Religious teachings.
It involves a willful smallness. A shame of the highly placed in society as though it was their doom to be rich and they will, as God lives, be humbled for they have exalted themselves.
“Those who are humble themselves will be exalted and those who exalt themselves will be humbled” which gladly translates to “it’s better to shrink yourself and wait till you are granted instead of rising to take what is rightfully yours”
A sort of solace for the poor and shame of the rich. For it is easier for a camel to pass through the ‘eye of the needle’ than for a rich man to enter and meet God. Oh what a curse! Oh what a curse is it to be wealthy!
