When we lay at Yeshua the Messiah's feet just as the leper we completely take our mind off ourselves. That leper was not thinking of himself lying at Yeshua the Messiah's feet. He wasn't thinking of his weaknesses, his short comings, nor the things he dealt with internally. He was only thinking of the goodness and mercy of God. Being saved does not mean that we no longer have issues, but it means we can make it even carrying those issues because it is His strength that is made perfect in our weakness, and it is His grace that is sufficient for us. Thus we need not focus on what is wrong with us, but on what is right with Him.
