Fanny J. Crosby, 1820 - 1915.
One of the most prolyphic song writers to ever put pen to paper. Having written nearly 9000 hymns and scores of poems, Fanny Crosby's name appears on more hymns in our modern day hymnal than any other name.
Blind since the age of six weeks old, she was raised by her grandmother who made sure Fanny was given not only a public education but also was taught the scriptures and was told about Jesus giving her a firm foundation on which she wrote her hymns.
On this special edition of the Gospel Jubilee Chip and Denny bring a compilation of newly discovered hymns written by Fanny J. Crosby. These hymns are performed by different Southern Gospel artists and are sure to be a blessing to you.

Sweetwater Revival, affectionately known in Southern Gospel circles as “The Female Quartet of Southern Gospel Music” will be this week's featured artists

The group is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. As one of the only female gospel quartets in the entire nation, they are known to always deliver tight

This ministry is run by leading member Katherine Paull, formerly of the New Speers out of Nashville, Tennessee & renown songwriter & manager Cathie Paxson.

The Singing Americans.

New Ground, 1993 - present, will be the featured artists this week on The Gospel Jubilee with Chip and Denny.

Twenty-five years ago a group of friends met just to see what it would “sound like” as a gospel trio and possibly begin a ministry singing songs for the
Lord!!!

Today's group members include Dale and Robbie Maxwell, David Owens, and Mickey Bell on the piano.

With the intention to sing a few church services, gospel events and wherever the call came from this chance meeting is now celebrating their Silver Anniversary.

New Ground is enjoying  gospel music without compromise.  It’s been an extraordinary quarter of a century, with over 3500 sings behind them - from their
hometown of Scottsboro, Alabama to Juneau, Alaska, then onwards to Scotland with many states and countries in between, the group remains true today and
as they continue to  look ahead for more opportunities to further  the Name of Christ in song!!!
