Welcome to our study of Answering Denominational Doctrines. In this series of lessons, we are examining the doctrines of prominent denominations compared to the Word of God in order to see if they line up.
Today we will be looking at Catholic doctrine. Is the Catholic Church the church about which we read in the New Testament? Does the Catholic Church have the right to give or take away salvation? Are the papacy, worship of Mary, and other things of a similar nature what God wants in the New Testament? Can a person
take the New Testament, and the end result be the Catholic Church?
