  • Sinners Prayer
When someone responds to an altar call to be saved and the Pastor  has the person recite a prayer after them commonly called "The Sinner's Prayer."  Is this necessary for someone to receive salvation?

  • Can you know you are among the elect?
Another word for elect is chosen. It is essential we understand from a Biblical perspective what election is and what it is not. There are some characteristics that must be present to help us to know that we are among the elect.

  • Can we have true joy?
In a world that is a most dangerous place to live, where does our serenity come from? How can have true joy in place that is full of evil 24/7? With COVID-19, increased racism against Black Americans, protests and civil unrest along with a godless government, how in the world can we even cope from day to day? Life on the surface appears hopeless. Can we somehow rise above this mess? What should be our attitude when we face all these tribulations?

  • Can we be sure of our salvation?
Does the Bible assure us of the certainty our of salvation or can we lose it? Deductive reasoning should let us know that if we believe John 3:16, then we know we possess eternal life now! If salvation could be lost then it is not eternal. Either Jesus told us the truth or He lied. We know that Jesus cannot lie, so we can take comfort in the reality that our salvation rests in the Lord.

  • Can man become a god?
Believe or not, there are Christians that believe we can become "little gods". Is there Biblical support for this idea? Or are those who believe this doctrine poorly taught and misled by some cultic false teaching?

  • Biblical Inspiration
What does the Bible mean when it calls itself inspired? This phrase comes 2 Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is inspired by God...." Critics of the Bible say the scriptures contain numerous contradictions, and that it cannot be trusted. For those of us who know it is God's word, this is a serious charge. What a naysayer is declaring is that God is a liar and His word is unreliable.  So, is the Bible fool's gold, or is it objective truth?

  • By His stripes we are healed
This is the premiere phrase to claim physical healing in the Bible. So what happens when a person prays for their healing and it does not come to pass? Is it because they lack faith? Was there sin in their life? With any passage in the Bible, context is the key. Please listen.

  • Binding and Loosing
What do these terms mean? Do they mean we can bind Satan and his demons and cast them to hell like so many Christians declare in their prayers? Does it mean we can bind the demons of debt, confusion, disease and sickness? The episode hopefully answers your questions.

  • Armageddon
What does the word mean? Hollywood has capitalized off of the term to make money. We need to know why it used in the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible.
