In our churches today too much time is wasted because of the replacement of scripture with illustrations. Or the pastors time is spent counseling because of a lack of obedience to the preaching ministry. Unity in serving the Lord is accomplished when the word is preached and obeyed.

Preaching Jesus is Bible preaching. The most intimate way to know the Lord Jesus is through the word of God. we are taught by Him, Jesus personally, by the written word, and the word preached.

Today Brother Tony tells of the purpose and how The Gospel Podcast was born in his heart. He discusses the two main scriptures that are the foundation for this podcast. & . He shows that even though the lost considers preaching foolishness, we who are saved know that preaching is the power of God.  He teaches that when we listen the word of God preached something happens that only God's word can perform in the life of a believer.
