  • 51. The wedding hype is coming over us

Apparently we're not completely real adults just yet, because neither of us ever attended any friends' weddings... But, we have experienced the wedding hype online! How can everyone afford to get married and attend so many bachelorette parties in their 20s? Why does it seem like everyone is having the exact same wedding? And what do we even get to say about this topic?

  • 50. New habits we want and bad habits we like

Last week we touched upon our weekend together with our new friends during which we workshopped around how we want our life to look in the future. But how do you actually get to that future? However cliche, working towards a different type of life starts with making small changes to your day-to-day. In this episode, Amanda and Roos discuss what habits they want to include in their daily life, and how they plan on doing so. Roos also shares some bad habits she got rid of in the past, and some bad habits that she does not want to get rid of in the present.

And we're back (sorry for the unannounced break)! In this summer episode we recap our thoughtful weekend with some new friends. We then go into how we all seek support from different people in our lives regarding different manners. Why is it so important to have different people of different "purposes"?

  • 48. Childhood friends & knowing yourself

In the middle of life crisis and asking yourself why you're doing what you're doing we've come to realise that your childhood friends will always have the "real" view of who you are. They never saw you as a corporate worker or that you working in an office was a given, so why should you?

For this summer episode we go a bit deep into how we're thankful for these relationships in different ways. Hope you enjoy!

  • 47. Dealing with heartbreak & passion

    The poem

    The essay

    The song

This week we are opening up about some more personal matters. Amanda shares about how she has struggled to work with something where she has not felt interested in the skills she was learning, nor in the industries she worked in. She asks the question how do you choose your job? Do you choose it based on what it teaches you, or the industry you're in? For her, neither of these two aspects were present at her previous job.

Roos brings us a half-year dating update, and shares how she is dealing with heartbreak. The sadness she has felt the past months has turned out to be surprisingly positive and given her a boost to find her way back to art.

We conclude the theme of AI with live updates from Almedalen, where our dear friend Mattias Akke (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mattias-akke-40a83219a/?locale=en) spent a lot of time talking AI with decision makers. How are they adopting to AI? And most importantly, how will they make sure that their organisation, and the society, benefits from the AI development? Tag along!

Amanda also stresses out on technology and how it seems to be impossible to have an offline summer...

  • 45. Are tech bros destroying the world?

... It's just a hypothetical question, chill out! No but seriously, in this episode we try to dive into a subject we're very new to - finance. We've both gotten information from different sources and we're trying to gather our thoughts about how the rapid tech development, and the distribution of wealth that it leads to, affects the world.

Next week we'll get a glimpse from Almedalen and how AI and the tech development is being discussed there. We're so very excited for that! Follow along!

  • 43. Let's pop the AI bubble

If you're not running 50+ AI agents, vibe coding your way through the workday AND building the next unicorn app on the side - what are you even doing with your life? Oh, and you should probably be the one implementing the AI that replaces you as well.

In this episode, which marks the start of a new theme, we "pop the AI bubble" and ask the real questions: who's actually using this stuff, which jobs are at risk, and how do you prepare for a future nobody can seem to agree on?

Hi, we're back ☺️ Hope you haven't forgotten about us 🥺

  • 42. We are breaking up

Almost exactly one year of our podcast anniversary, and therefore also our anniversary of getting dumped, we are dumping... EACH OTHER!?

In today's episode we're going back to basics, and you can kind of see it as a little "filler episode", since we're taking a break in our normal series based episodes. Today we're getting much more personal, talking about our living situation and asking the million dollar question; Can you live with a close friend without ruining your friendship??? Well, listen to find out...
