The Lord's people turn away from living contrary to the Lord's law, and commit to re-establish their covenant with Him. 

No matter the season or situation, the reading of God's Word is essential for God's people. Nehemiah 8 shows us how we should all not only read the Word, but do what it says. 

In the midst of opposition, faith is required to overcome. Nehemiah shows us the best ways to live in faith despite opposition by the enemy.

Nehemiah 5 shows us how generosity can define a community through loving and caring for one another. 

This week in Nehemiah we see that opposition to the plan of God is normal and we are encouraged to meet opposition with prayer, faith and the reminder that God fights for His people.
