Gratitude is at the core of the Christian faith as it is a response to the grace we have received.

When we lament, we discover areas of darkness that need the light of Christ.

Lamenting with those who suffer is one way we carry each other’s burdens and love as Christ has loved us.

Learning to intentionally express our lament helps anchor our hope in the goodness of God and His ultimate renewal of all things. 

Lament is our response to the brokenness and suffering in this world that engages God in our context of heartache, doubt, and belief.
