The Grace Message on Oneplace.com

A common theme in most world religions is getting rid of the self to pursue more of the divine.

What sets Christianity apart is God makes believers into new creations with a new heart, a new spirit, and His indwelling Spirit. So why do some Christians still think they need to rid themselves of the old self to pursue godly living?

Knowing who you are is at the core of living the Christian life. In this message from 2 Corinthians 5, you’ll learn your old self is dead, the new has come, and you can be yourself a righteous and blameless friend of God!

What if there’s no grace church in my area? Do I need to deny myself and take up my cross daily (Luke 9:23)? Who will experience weeping and gnashing of teeth? How do we understand God - as a person or as three persons? Does Jesus still have a body? God healed my mother! Does keeping God’s commands make us righteous (Luke 1:6)? Does Abraham giving a tenth in Hebrews 7 mean we should tithe today? What does it look like to humble ourselves? What are the "things above" we should set our minds on (Colossians 3:2)?

Where in the Bible are we told to try to be more Christlike? Why did God let Satan tempt Job? How can we better approach temptation? My wife is more loyal to my daughter than to me right now. I feel betrayed and disrespected. What should I do?

Where does it actually say the church is the bride of Christ? How can the church be the body and the bride? Does God give us the desires of our hearts? Is salvation the answer to financial poverty in the world?

What does it mean that Jesus was the second Adam? Why didn’t He mention this in His own teaching? I left my girlfriend six months ago, because she is not a believer. Should I go back to her? What are your thoughts on Micah 6:8? How do we read the Old Testament in light of the New Testament?
