Does “falling away” ever mean loss of salvation? Where did Jesus go between His death and resurrection? Why did Jesus curse the fig tree? Why did you post on social media that “Christians can be themselves and express Jesus at the same time”?
I did something I’m not proud of, and I’m feeling depressed, like God doesn’t love me anymore. What can I do? I made a promise to God, and then I broke it recently. Am I still OK with the Lord? I want to be closer to Him. What is the discipline of the Lord in Hebrews 12? Does God really “scourge” us?
How is a person saved? Why would a person be baptized in water? What are “things of this world”? Where do we read that God will never forsake us? Is it a sin not to keep the Law? What about behavior passages in the New Testament? I try to praise God but often fall short. What should I do? My best friend died, and I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye.
In just a few short days, we’ll be celebrating Christmas, so I want to share with you my latest message titled “The Man, Christ Jesus.”
Did you know Jesus is still human today? Yes, resurrection human, but human nonetheless! Jesus could have given up His humanity after His resurrection? But He didn’t! In this message, we’ll explore the significance of Jesus being fully God and fully human today, even in His resurrected state.
Also, Jesus said He didn’t come to be served but to serve (Matthew 20:28). So, what does it mean to “let Jesus serve you”?
And lastly, in a world where everyone clings to their “rights”, why did we see Jesus giving up His rights – His right to be understood, appreciated, and respected? And what does it mean for us to “give up our rights” in situations we face today?
I encourage you to listen to this message – it contains a lot of new thoughts and perspectives to offer you this Christmas season.
Discussion Questions for “The Man, Christ Jesus”:
Should we be sure to gather with other believers? What role does leadership play? Does living better produce answered prayer requests? Can I pray another person toward salvation? Wasn’t water baptism preached in the early church? How do we understand Acts 8 and 10? I heard a preacher say if I don’t forgive other people, I’m not really saved or not saved anymore. Could this be true?
Why is Jesus called “Everlasting Father” in Isaiah? Did Peter, James and John have the same revelation as Paul? If Jesus really is God, then how did He not know the time of His return? Does God change His mind? What does “do not be conformed to the world” really mean in Romans 12?
How does an unbeliever open themselves up to being possessed by a demon? Why does Jesus say that no one can come to Him unless they are drawn by the Father? Does it mean only certain people can be saved? What does the term “Son of Man” mean? And does it have more than one meaning? What is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit?
*Previously aired.
Why did Corinthian women need to cover their heads? Do unbelievers also have “eternal life” in Hell? I disagree with you: Tithing is for today! Also, if everyone stopped tithing, how would our churches survive? Was Jesus born in Adam? Was Jesus really born on December 25?
