Contrary to the belief of most of Christendom, the Christian was never meant to keep the 10 Commandments, rather, they along with the entire Law of Moses, were crafted by God to bring death into our lives and show us our need for Christ. The Apostle Paul actually calls the Law "the ministry of death" in 2 Corinthians 3. In this sermon, Luis shows you how being under religion, and by default the Law, is actually keeping you sick, bound, and depressed.

Religion Kills, but the Spirit gives life.

It seems like most of the church today has an identity crisis: they don't know who they are in Christ! So, does 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 and Ephesians 5:5-11 teach that believers can lose their salvation if they sin? Let's look at the verses in context to understand what Paul is actually trying to tell us.

Did the work of Christ include freedom from generational curses, or did God leave it up to us to cleanse our bloodlines? Many christians walk around with guilt, shame, and condemnation feeling “cursed”, but is that our reality? Let’s study Colossians 2 and see what the scriptures actually have to say about Satan’s accusations aginst us and generational curses.

There is only one passage in the New Testament that can be used to teach that the forgiveness of sins is conditional upon our confession, but is that what it's really teaching? If so, what happens if you have any unconfessed sin in your life? We'll break down 1 John 1:5-8 in context to find out in this episode of The Grace Podcast.

The spiritual realm is real and there are hidden spiritual forces working behind the scenes, from politics to your work place. There is quite literally a spiritual battle happening in our midst, and the question every Christian must ask themselves is how are we to engage in this battle?

In this episode, we’ll break down what the Apostle Paul tells us about spiritual warfare and how to fight it, and what it truly means to “put on the full armor of God.”

If you’re like me, you grew up hearing about the fear of the Lord in church. I was told to fear God, but was never given any assurance as to what it actually meant. It honestly left me feeling doubtful, anxious, and at times, literally afraid of God. Let’s break down the fear of the Lord BIBLICALLY to understand what it really means to fear God in our daily lives.

It seems like every time a natural disaster happens, a so called "prophet" jumps on social media and starts rambling about God's judgment on America. But is God really judging America? We'll answer this question by looking at the story of Elijah vs The Prophets of Baal, and what Jesus himself had to say about it in the gospels. As always, we'll end our time together partaking of Holy communion and praying for you!
