The book of Joel was written in a really dark time. No hope, sad, empty, dark. During that time Joel wrote a book of light and truth in the midst of darkness. As Christians, we are light in the midst of darkness. Jesus had paid the price and we have a hope and a salvation. We are not there yet, but we have a dream of heaven. A hope for a future of love and acceptance.
