Sharing stories of God’s saving work in his life, Paul illustrates how God delights in us in so many ways. Stories of near drownings and being rescued from life-threatening outlaw motorcycle groups lead to an encouragement to delight in God every day.

Paul explains how in both good times and challenging times life is better when we trust and delight in the God whose mercies are new every morning.

What does it mean to “delight in the Lord”?

We can delight in many things, but when challenges and dark times in life arise, how can we delight in the Lord?

Using examples from everyday life, Matt encourages us to take regular moments to stop, appreciate and be fully satisfied with God in our lives. He helps us to remember to pause and reflect on God’s work in creation and in salvation. He helps us to reflect on the presence of God’s Spirit in our lives and the sustenance of his presence.

As a Kamilaroi woman, Aunty Donna has an incredible testimony. Torn from her birth family in Coonamble as a child and sent to Newcastle to be raised by a white family.

This year's NAIDOC them is "Heal Country". This message will inspire you to think about our history from an Aboriginal perspective, and about the gratitude many Aboriginal communitites feel for the coming of the good news of salvation in Jesus.

She shares stories of the gospel coming to the Torres Straight Islands, bringing light into dark places, and speaks of the hope that faith in Jesus brings into the dark night of the soul faced by many indigenous people.

Paul outlines the place of both the Rhema and the Logos in the life of a believeer. He ties this in with our need for both the word of God and the Spirit of God in order that we might grow up to maturity as Christians.

He warns of the dangers of imbalance which can lead to Christians and churches either falling prey to dry intellectualism or, alternatively, to dangerous faith built on an unsure foundation.
