Dr. Jim Denison is the Chief Vision Officer of Denison Forum. Through The Daily Article email newsletter and podcast (DenisonForum.org), social media, interviews, and articles across the internet, Denison Forum reaches 2.6 million culture-changing Christians every month. Jim and his wife, Janet, live in Dallas, Texas, and they have two sons and four grandchildren. Howie Levin is the Executive Director of OneHeartDC, an impactful nonprofit ministry located in our nation’s capital that has brought together over 750 churches and Christian ministries in the metro DC area with the goal of bringing the power of the Gospel to the millions of people living in that region. While raised Jewish, Howie came to faith in Christ later in life. He is doing an amazing job joining ministry leaders with marketplace leaders for the sake of spreading the Good News. Simon Guevara is an ordained pastor currently serving in a suburb of Chicago. He hasn’t always served in ministry—in fact, he hasn’t always been a Christian. Raised culturally religious, he considered himself an “informed atheist” as a young adult. But the Lord had planted a seed of faith in his heart that opened him to the gospel on his 30th birthday. “I don’t say that I accepted Jesus at that time, more than I surrendered myself to Christ in His mercy.” Later, he followed the Lord’s leading to leave his career in broadcasting for ministry. He graduated Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in ’08 and has pastored churches in Michigan and Texas, before coming back north to Illinois in ‘18. He is passionate for evangelism and living out of the abundant love of God. His real joy is his wife Alicia (Hekman) and their family of 5—each with wildly different personalities. 

Prayer is one of our greatest privileges as Christ followers. Dave Butts is a dear friend and has taught me personally so much about prayer. He is a much sought after conference speaker both nationally and internationally. Dave serves on several Boards of Directors and committees focused on prayer, revival and evangelism including being the Chairman of both the National Prayer Committee and the National Day of Prayer. He is a prolific writer, authoring 14 books and many articles on various aspects of prayer.

Adam T. Barr (MDiv, ThM), along with his wife, Jen, is the founder of Inheritance, a church-multiplying movement located in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to 20+ years of ministry in the local church, Adam speaks and has published on Christianity and Culture, helping followers of Jesus pursue mission in an increasingly post-Christian society. Adam and Jen live with their four sons in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has much to say about what God is telling the American Church in our day.

Dean Vander Mey is the Executive Director of Set Free Ministries, based in Grand Rapids, MI. His ministry meets with people in crisis and guides them in the truth of Scripture to find freedom, peace and joy in Christ Jesus. In this podcast, Dean spells out clearly how our arch-enemy Satan is our ultimate enemy and how he uses our emotions to enslave us to sinful patterns of thoughts, words and deeds. Dean also describes how the lukewarm sand even sinful lifestyles of us members of the American Church in many ways stands in the way of the revival and awakening that we long for and so desperately need. Yet, we end the podcast with a word of hope that God will, as He has in the past, use the pain of our circumstances to drive the remnant to pray and obey so God will indeed respond with pouring out His Spirit in our land for the building of His Kingdom for His glory.
