The Grave Plot Podcast

Yesterday was the 4th of July, which means it's time to celebrate America with a couple of patriotic horror movies. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!

The dream of the 80s is alive at The Grave Plot Podcast. Today we've got two movies that are new, but you'd think they were straight out of a bygone era.

We talk 1981's Happy Birthday to Me and 2016's Happy Birthday.

We compare the original Alien film to the latest, Alien: Covenant, and talk to author Neil Cohen about his zombie novels "Exit Zero" and "Nuke Jersey"

Gather round kiddies, and hear legends of hilarious panels, wild parties, and all manner of horrible creatures roaming Crypticon Seattle 2017.

We've returned "From Beyond The Void" for another brand new episode, featuring a couple of Lovecraftian cosmic horror films.

We let our Patreon patrons pick our movie reviews this episode, and they picked Train to Busan and The Toxic Avenger.

Would you like to buy a monkey?

Greetings once again, friends! In today's episode we review the new film from super group James Gunn (Dawn of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) and Greg McLean (Wolf Creek), titled The Belko Experiment. If you think office work is hell, you have no idea. We also review the latest from Sean Byrne (The Loved Ones), The Devil's Candy, featuring a shirtless metal head Ethan Embry. What more could you want?

In Horror Business, we discuss The Fly, Aliens, new projects from a couple of sitcom stars, and Sean Cunningham's return to the genre. There's also some quick updates on Behind the Mask and Maniac Cop adaptations, and a Real World Horror story about "teeth." You don't want to miss this.

Strap in and prepare for the ride of your life with a brand new episode of The Grave Plot Podcast.

Disclaimer: This episode was originally supposed to air on Wednesday, March 15. However, the audio files were corrupted. We were able to repair them (by purchasing a brand new hard drive) so here we are. It' s still a little choppy in parts, but better late than never. Enjoy.

This episode is the first ever Grave Plot Podcast Vendetta. SkeleTony and Taylor of Terror each forced the other to review a movie that they knew the other person hates, namely Frailty and the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror. To settle the score, we brought in special guest referee Max Health from 3-2-1 Battle Wrestling, who listeners of the show may recognize as Max Zaleski.

Before we get to the main event, however, we have a discussion about nudity in horror, and cover Horror Business that includes a Real World Horror story about wild nuclear boars. We also discuss a horror version of The Wizard of Oz, a sequel to It, and a new zombie show coming from Netflix. We also talk about a movie about photographs and you'll never guess what movie MoMA is adding to its collection.

Put it in your ears and let it seep into your brain.
