In this episode, I talk to my friend and atheist, Jeff.

Jeff and I went to high school together and spent many hazy nights discussing religion (among other things). As stated above, Jeff is an atheist. Which simply put means that he asserts there is no God, soul, afterlife etc. Anything outside the material realm is unconvincing to him. And as I've progressed with this first season, I realized that the discussion has been very one-sided. And I suppose as a "paranormal podcast," it should be. But I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the other side of the aisle. 

Jeff and I discuss his experience with a Ouija board and his subsequent feelings as to why he now believes that experience, along with all other supernatural encounters, are likely false. 

In this episode, I talk to my friend Kevin. 

Kevin is a childhood friend of mine who grew up in a haunted house. Some of the things he told me as kids that occurred in his home scared me to the point where I would avoid sleepovers there. As a young boy, what Kevin told me terrified me. And now as an adult, I thought back to those tales Kevin had shared all those years ago and I immediately added him to the top of my guest list. From a Native American in his basement to the apparition of a man appearing in his bedroom, Kevin certainly has enough experience to qualify him for this podcast. 

A qualification I'm quite sure he never wanted...

In this episode, I talk to my good friend and nationally known scared person, Kyle Trobman.

As stated above, Kyle is not the biggest fan of the paranormal. In fact, it terrifies him. It's highly probable he would never wish to experience another creepy thing for as long as he lives. But alas, spooky things seem to keep happening to my dear friend... From an invisible intruder at a friend's upstate NY home to an apparent encounter with a spirit during an Ouija board session, Kyle has had more interactions with the paranormal than most would care to have...

And that's exactly why I had to have him on the show.

In this episode of The Grave, I talk to my friend Nikki Fontaine. 

Nikki initially told me some of her stories while out one night when we both lived in New York years ago. But when I began thinking about people I wanted to have on this podcast years later, Nikki's stories were some of the first that came to my mind. We delve into some of her family's bizarre tales as well as work through her experiences with the paranormal that she had growing up in her childhood home, including a couple visits from her deceased relatives. 

She enlightens us on how she perceived and "downloaded" energy as a child while also discussing how she was able to shut it down later in life.

Welcome back! In this episode, I talk to my friend and fellow paranormal enthusiast, Nick Damore. We get into our views on the afterlife, discuss heaven and hell as well as tackle the topic of suicide within the realm of religion. Of course, we also dig on into Nick's experiences with the paranormal and his ongoing search for answers to the afterlife question. Nick shares supernatural events from his childhood all the way up to present day and the female spirit that seems to have formed a bond with his young son...

In the first episode of The Grave you will hear from me, your host, Josh King. I wanted to start things off in the hopes that people hear some of my paranormal experiences and not only feel safe but comfortable enough to discuss their own. In this first episode, I detail what I believe was my first supernatural encounter as a child and chronicle several other experiences throughout my life. The last of which describes my confrontation with the apparition of a young woman in my hotel room in Madrid, Spain.
