The GraveTalk Podcast

This week the GraveTalk crew head to the hills.... (we couldn't resist. sorry).  We watched the remake of Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes [2006].  Packed with more mutants than our normal family trips, this remake from Alexandre Aja, had us wondering 'should we just write off the whole desert at this point'?  Only way way to know, press play & find out!

Get ready folks, because it's time to get INFESTED! This week the GraveTalk crew grabbed our steroid weed & watched the early 90s horror flick Ticks [1993]. And when we say 90s we MEAN 90s! Alfonso Ribeiro, CHECK! Seth Green, CHECK! Gross misunderstanding of the agricultural science of marijuana, CHECK! That said, press play now to hear what we thought about this one.

This week as a treat, The GraveTalk crew was going to discuss Bob Villa’s This Old House reruns but due to a communications error we ended up watching Rob Zombies House Of 1000 Corpses [2003]. Zombies first directorial foray is a cornucopia of all the things we love about his style, but does his artistic vision play well in a feature length flick? Press play now to find out what we thought!

On this episode The GraveTalk crew (minus Mark who had to return some video tapes) watched American Psycho [2000]. This dark comedy thriller had us questioning everything we thought we knew about being a high powered VP in the fast paced world of 80s culture. A cerebral look at what it means to truly be a prisoner in a cell of your making. Did we dig this flick like a Huey Lewis pop single or would we rather have taken an axe to it? Press play to find out.

This episode The GraveTalk crew called in help from our old pal Leroy to discuss The Blob [1988]. After Mark's 32 hour filibuster to get this one on the episode list asap, we had no choice but to acquiesce & give it a watch. And are we ever glad we did! This one was a blast so press play & lets get into it!

Rise From Your Grave! Again! This week The GraveTalk crew is joined by Blood Over Texas’ Bunny Voodoo to discuss the latest entry in the deadite series, Evil Dead Rise [2023]. Did this latest flick deliver the goods? Hit play now to find out!

Are you "preying" for an another exorcism movie? Well Jon has you covered in this quickie for 2022s Prey For the Devil

Now you're playing with power, Ghost Power! This week the GraveTalk watched Stay Alive [2006], a film about playing a horror video game that will kill you if you don't... ahem... stay alive! Did this one have us coughing up more quarters to continue? Press play to find out.

Hopefully you all didn't Mist us too much this week... Sorry, we had to. In case that terrible dad joke didn't already give it away, this week The GraveTalk crew watched The Mist [2007]. Tentacles, Religious Zealotry, ....Mist, this ones got it all. Did we dig this flick? Press play to find out.

We had a whole thing planned where we were gonna go over the "rules" of doing a podcast but we will spare you all & skip it (besides no one does it better than Jamie Kennedy). We did however watch Scream 6 [2023] so we will subject you to that. Did the sixth installment of the Ghostface franchise slash its way into our hearts? Press play to find out.
