This is one of the episodes that I had recorded and then didn’t share before my little disappearance. I decided to share it anyway. If you’ve been out Christmas shopping lately you may notice there is a lot of “Santa Claus is coming to town”, or “ it’s the most wonderful time of the year” type signs around. But have you noticed there’s hardly anything about the “CHRIST in Christmas”?! Because I sure have. Sure there is nativity scenes everywhere, and the odd angel, but other than that, do you see anything else relating to Jesus? Because I’m really struggling with the fact that I don’t. I don’t know about you but I don’t want my children to think that Christmas is only about Santa Claus. Christmas is not about presents … it’s about PRESENCE! The presence of The Lord of all!

Who the heck are you to assume that God can use you for anything? Who the heck are you to believe that God should love you or forgive you? YOU are chosen, loved, called! That’s who the heck you are. I’m sharing with you today the words that “I” need to hear right now. Maybe you need to hear these words too.

It’s not the healthy that need a doctor, it’s the sick. And the reality is that we’re all sick. We are all in need of a surgeon who can do surgery on our hearts, our minds, our spirits, our life. And we can’t judge each other for our different sicknesses. Because we’re ALL sick!

Have you ever thought, “I’m just too much”?! I know I have. There’s been so many times where I felt like my mouth was too big, my tattoos were too loud, my ME was just “Too Much.” Well my too much is just enough for the Lord. My too much is just enough of the right people. And so is YOURS!

God’s too busy for me to ask Him for help… have you ever thought that? Well I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. God is never too busy for you. Even for the teeny tiny little itty-bitty seemingly insignificant things.

Have you ever shrunk back when speaking about your faith? Are you afraid to tell people what you believe in? Then today’s a good day for you to tune in. Because being bold is what you’re called to do!

My daughter almost passed away last week from complications from HUS - hemolytic uremic syndrome. It is a condition that affects the blood and blood vessels. It results in the destruction of blood platelets (cells involved in clotting), a low red blood cell count (anemia) and kidney failure due to damage to the very small blood vessels of the kidneys. Other organs, such as the brain or heart, may also be affected by damage to very small blood vessels. BUT GOD! In the Storm, He was there with me. And He is there with you in YOUR Storm.
