Christians refer to God as the Father, creator of all things in the heavens and the earth. He is also referred to as “The Lord” throughout the Old Testament.

God has many names which refers to Gods Characteristics

By learning more about God through the Bible, it will help you understand who God is and how much He truly loves us deeply and wants to be in close relationship with us. He does not want to control us and has given us a precious gift of “Free Will” to all mankind and yes, even to the angels.

This first session goes over a summary of discussions and discoveries. We'll first talk about Discipleship Basics and where to start.

I used to call myself a Christian but that label has been diluted and is used by many people that do not really know who God the Father is, or who Jesus Christ really is, and many folks don’t know very much about Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit!

I now refer to myself as a Christ Follower – which is what a disciple is. Being a follower of Christ is not about a religion. Its all about a relationship based on Jesus Christ loving us first, unconditionally and no strings attached. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation, it is a gift.
