Reframing your mindset is the most powerful thing that you can do to change the trajectory of your life, as well as improve your general mental health and wellbeing.
Your thoughts are extremely powerful! Framing starts with a choice. How can you change your frame of mind?
Choose to focus on how the difficulty you’re facing will make you stronger, more intelligent, more emotionally complex, or more resourceful. See the problem as an opportunity!
The key takeaway from today’s podcast is that have we total, 100% control over our mindset, our mood, our reaction to events, what we pay attention to and how present we are.

Quotes
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

Do you know what your values are? Most of us don’t. We don’t understand what’s most important to us. Instead, we focus on what our society, culture, and media values.
The problem with not being connected to our values is we don't have a foundation in and a focus on what is really important to us!
Your values are, "your personal code of conduct." They are your core beliefs that guide your actions, behaviors, and interactions with the world.
The path to self-improvement and personal expansion can often seem uncertain, but it's your core values that remain constant, guiding you along the way.
Intimately knowing your values gives you the foundation to not only make large, life-changing decisions but also allows you to conduct your life on a day to day basis with integrity and authenticity.
We all want to live at peace with ourselves and the world. It’s not easy! But going through a process to discover your values is a great place to start.
Defining your values is the most crucial component of The Great Bloke Project Blueprint.

The practice of self-awareness is one of the greatest skills in life because it enables us to learn about ourselves in a way no one else can ever teach us.
Learning the art of self-awareness is the most crucial component of The Great Bloke Project Blueprint. Understanding who we are at a deeper level is the foundation to navigating our path through life. To be the best version of ourselves we must know ourselves.
Self-awareness causes us to stop ignoring our feelings, fears, and emotions and forces us to start exploring them.
