Christ had no sin.

Christ became sin for us, we who are sinners.

2. God made Christ “to be sin on our behalf.” (2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13; Hebrews 12:2; Isaiah 53:12)

We become the righteousness of God in Him.
