When F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby in the early 1920s, the American Dream was already on the skids. Members Reviews:
Great book but the reader spoils it
What made the experience of listening to The Great Gatsby the most enjoyable?
The classic story!
What aspect of Alan Munros performance might you have changed?
The entire demeanor characters aren't distinguishable enough and the pace of speech is clumsy and gapped.
Any additional comments?
Great story but the Shatner-esque speech of the reader takes me out of the story
